Surf School

  1. All surf lesson bookings must be made or cancelled at least 24 hours in advance.
  2. If a surf lesson is not attended, it will be charged in full.
  3. The timetable of the lessons is according to the availability of the teacher and/or student, always taking into account the sea conditions and preferably the level of the student.
  4. Refunds will only be given in the event of serious illness or injury and accompanied by medical prescription.
  5. In the event of any alteration to the timetable, students will be notified 12 hours in advance.
  6. The prices of the lessons include wetsuit, surfboard, certified instructor and insurance.
  7. In case the student has his own equipment, the price is not flexible.
  8. The classes will have a maximum of 5 people per surf instructor.
  9. The packages of several lessons have a duration of 6 months from the moment it is bought.
  10. Sometimes the weather conditions do not meet the safety conditions to teach the lessons, in this case the instructor has the duty to cancel the lesson. The same is not refunded, Baleal Surf Ranch will try to reschedule the lesson or find another way to replace the lesson (example: surfskate lesson).

Rental

  1. ID card or driving licence
  2. Rental Hours: From 9 am to 7 pm
  3. The delivery of the rented equipment after the stipulated time implies the payment of 1 hour rental for each ½ hour of delay.
  4. The equipment must be returned in the same condition it was rented.
  5. If you wish to keep the equipment from one day to the next, a security deposit of 250 euros is required, which will be returned when you deliver the equipment back undamaged.
  6. The use of the rented equipment is the sole responsibility of the clients, therefore the Baleal Surf Ranch insurance does NOT cover damage to the equipment, and/or theft and / or total loss of the equipment.
  7. If the equipment upon delivery is damaged, a fee will be charged depending on what it is.
  8. It is considered Damaged when the equipment or part of it has a small cut and is possible to repair.
    Damaged
    Surfboard – 50€
    Wetsuit – 25€
  9. It is considered Total Loss when the equipment or part of it is unusable or broken.
    Total loss
    Surfboard – 275€
    Wetsuit – 150€

Accommodation

  1. After the reservation is made directly with Baleal Surf Ranch, we accept cancellation according to the following terms:

To confirm the accommodation reservation we request a deposit of 30% of the total reservation. In case of cancellation, this amount is not refunded. You may, however, use this amount as a credit towards another booking, provided that the cancellation or change is made 20 days before the scheduled date of arrival at the accommodation.
  3. In the event of cancellation after payment of the remaining 70% of the total booking, this will be returned by bank transfer and all costs associated with this transaction are the responsibility of the client.
  4. In cases of negligence or misconduct, the customer will be responsible for the costs incurred in repairing or replacing damaged equipment.
  5. Check-in is from 3pm until 10pm. After that time a fee of 20 euros is charged. Check-out time is until 11am, in case of leaving after that time, the daily rate is charged.

Surfer Pack

The Terms and Conditions of the Surfer Pack are the same as the Surfschool and Accommodation.
